So after a long, long time of not writing, I figured out that I miss it. "Ins and Outs" are always a good way to get back into the swing of it. *swing*
Ins:
1. Cooler weather that makes it acceptable to wear hoodies. I love wearing my hoodies - I have a lot that my boyfriend gave to me because they were to small for him. These are among my favorite. They're so cozy and warm.
2. Water. Ok, so if you know me personally, you recognize that I am a Dr. Pepper addict. Someone actually mentioned that if they don't see me with a Dr. Pepper, they know something is wrong. Ack! I went to Target one day (I'm determined to stay out of Wal-Mart), and they had Smart Water on sale for $1. The bottles are about 24 ounces, so I purchased two bottles. The water was terrible. I realize that we're spoiled in Memphis because we have excellent water. So what did I do? Since I liked the bottles so much, I poured out the Smart Water, and in went the Memphis tap water. I forced myself to drink a whole bottle yesterday. I'm doing the same today. No Dr. Pepper whatsoever. Just water. To some people, this may not seem like a big deal. I'm not a water drinker, never have been. It's always caffeine or sweet tea. I'll keep you updated on my water expedition.
3. Lie To Me. I forgot how much I liked this show. I missed the last few episodes, but thanks to FOX posting the episodes online, I'm caught up!
4. My patchwork blanket. My Memaw made me a patchwork faux fur blanket out of leftover scraps last year. I went and retrieved it from my storage unit, and now all is right with the world. It's cozy, warm, and soft. And over sized. Bring it on winter!
Outs:
1. Living in the shell of a house. Our house is currently up for sale, and while I'm utterly grateful to have a place to stay so I can keep saving money, I miss having a home. I basically have a TV, couch, and bed. I do have a microwave and refrigerator. Most of my stuff is in storage, so I'm living on bare minimums. It's also an eye-opener. I have too much stuff. It's amazing to see what you can live without.
2. Missing The Big Bang Theory. I keep forgetting it was moved to Thursday night. They don't post them anywhere online, so that makes me sad. Drat!
Wow! Only two "Outs" for me this time?! I suppose the positive outweighs the negative. =)
