I Need These Boots!

Every once and a while, I get really excited about an item of clothing. And that item of clothing is always out of stock in my size. Ladies (and gentlemen), it's happened again...

I started my online love affair with a pair of black Candie's boots:

They can be casual or dressy, and most importantly, they look amazingly comfy. I took the journey to my local Kohl's and alas, they had a ton of them in gray and black. My excitement grew when I saw the ever so elusive size 8 in the black boots. I tried them on, walked around, and sadly determined that they were too big. The retail price is usually $79.99, but Kohl's had them on sale (as usual) for $39.99. I scoured the shelves for a 7.5 and I found a pair in the gray. I reluctantly tried them on, just to see how they fit. Wouldn't you know it - I need a 7.5 in these boots. And they didn't have a 7.5 in the black pair.

I asked an associate to check the stock room for me, and he came back empty handed. Drat. The only sizes that are left online are 6 and 9.5. So I may have to venture to another Kohl's. Because I really want these boots. They are indeed comfortable and very cute.

**Update (10/20/10, 3:03 A.M. CST): I was perusing the Kohl's web-site, and low and behold, the had the black boots in sizes 6 and 7.5!!! I ordered mine, along with a coat that I passed on at the brick and mortar store, two camis, and some skinny jeans that were on sale for $12.99 each! I got free standard shipping and $20 in Kohl's cash. I'm now a happy girl. My order should arrive between 10/26 and 11/1. I'll keep you updated!
